World Cup Tickets

Following some confusion over the event, the World Cup Organising Team would like to clarify that this summer’s World Cup will be a ticketed event for spectators. This is partially due to the size of the facility, and for further due to concerns over public safety. Tickets will be released in waves; with the first wave being released on the World Cup website on April 20th, the second wave being released on May 4th, and the third wave being released on May 18th. In some cases, limited tickets may be available outside these release dates as part of publicity campaigns and fundraisers. These tickets will be extremely limited and should not be relied upon.

We would like to take this opportunity to apologise to any potentially spectators who had impressions to the contrary. We would recommend spectators delay booking flights and accommodation until they have purchased their tickets. Whilst volunteers at the event will not have to purchase tickets, we would also recommend volunteers to delay booking flights and accommodation until we have confirmed with them that they will be required to volunteer at the event.

The World Cup Organising Team would like to thank the community for their support; and express their gratitude and excitement over the eagerness to see what will be truly a unique event in the sport’s history.
