Membership Manager

This is a 10-15 hour/week volunteer position. A driven individual will oversee and develop IQA membership policy as directed by the IQA Congress, and ensure that this policy is carried out. They are also charged with maintaining adequate staff such that Emerging Areas are receiving appropriate assistance. They will meet regularly with their counterparts in the Congress, and report to the Executive Director.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the IQA Congress to develop membership policy and carry them out on a daily basis
  • Oversee the yearly census, collect member dues, and maintain member database
  • Maintain regular contact and offer support to Emerging Areas
  • Hire and manage staff as necessary to assist with timely completion of these tasks

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Detail-oriented and independently motivated
  • Regular access to Skype and email

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual
  • Prior experience in an administrative role
