Human Resources Manager

This is a 10-15 hour/week volunteer position. A driven individual will assist other managers to hire and maintain the volunteer staff and their records. They will report to the Executive Director.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop hiring and firing policy, keep employment records, and update the volunteer openings page on the IQA website
  • Help create an open, positive, and encouraging work environment for volunteers
  • Hire and manage staff as necessary to assist with timely completion of these tasks

Minimum Qualifications

  • Exceptional people skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Detail-oriented and independently motivated
  • Regular access to Skype and email

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual
  • Prior experience in an HR role
