Gameplay Manager

This is a 10-15 hour/week volunteer position. A driven individual will oversee and develop international gameplay-related policy as directed by the IQA Congress, and ensure that this policy is carried out at all IQA events. They will meet regularly with their counterparts in the Congress, and report to the Executive Director.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the IQA Congress to develop gameplay policy and carry them out on a daily basis
  • Oversee snitch, referee, and rules development internationally
  • Manage gameplay staff and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Work closely with the Events Coordinator to organize gameplay at international tournaments and other events

Minimum Qualifications

  • Prior management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Detail-oriented and independently motivated
  • Regular access to Skype and email

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual
  • Prior experience in sports administration
  • Working knowledge of current quidditch gameplay issues and rulebook
